Nicola Moreland was your average working mom, dedicated to family, and God; doing all the “right” things. However that was not the thoughts and plans that God had for her life. After ten years of balancing her career and marriage, she found herself divorced, unemployed, and displaced with two children. Having no other choice but to return back home to live with her mom, she found herself broken, and used. After seeking the Lord for direction, she came across miscellaneous pieces of jewelry, broken and misplaced much like herself. It was at that very moment that she felt that God himself was reassuring her that He would do a new thing within her. Having never created jewelry before, Nicola found revelation in those broken pieces, and in finding her talent, she found herself. Two years later the Decatur, GA native is now a successful owner, of Nicola’s Playthings, custom and abstract jewelry.
